When I first got it, it seemed bulkier than other brands I've seen, but after a few uses, it's perfect! It easily conforms to your waist, which is the idea. Like everything else Astral, the durability and style are top notch, and the mesh pocket is pretty bomber, too. After teaching a few SUP courses I've really enjoyed how easy it is to re-pack and replace the co2, unlike others that feel like an origami puzzle. While I've not tried the reflective tape out in low light conditions yet- I've seen it "glow" mid day when the sun catches it just right, so I can only imagine how well it'd reflect in darker conditions. If you're already a fan of Astral, this airbelt will fit in you lifejacket quiver perfectly! If you're not a fan yet... get it. You won't be disappointed!
